Not that I’m promoting building excessive amounts of parking garages that would encourage more people to drive, but they are often better than sprawling parking lots that take up valuable land.  Although the recent economic and political climate as well as current technology has shifted the car culture into one that is more aware and concerned about the environment, it is clear that cars – and the necessity for a place to park them  – are still the primary means of transportation in our great nation.  Although this example is not found in our state it is a fine example of what could exist in Utah, a state still a bit behind the curve regarding a convienient and efficient public transportation systemCarParkOne.
